Each head features 4 rows of cutters for a total of ~28.Each cutter, or carbide insert in a size of 15mmX15mmX2.5mm, is solid carbideand will out last your steel knives by a good margin. Each insert also has fourcutting sides, so just rotate the one side that gets dull and your are ready toplane again.
